I'm a Northern Pilot subscriber. How many issues of Pilot Getaways will I receive?
Your subscription expiration date has been extended issue-for-issue to account for the new quarterly publication schedule. For example, a Northern Pilot subscriber with one year remaining (6 issues), would be credited with 1 1/2 years of Pilot Getaways (6 issues). Your new customer number and expiration date is located just above your name on your mailing label.

When did Northern Pilot stop publishing and what happened to
Northern Pilot 's Editor and Founder, Peter M. Diemer?
The June/July 2003 issue of Northern Pilot was the last to be published. Peter will continue to contribute to the magazine as an associate editor and is looking forward to bringing you more exciting backcountry aviation stories in the future.

I looked into Pilot Getaways a few years ago, and it only featured West Coast destinations. Is this still the case?
Pilot Getaways has come a long way since beginning as a regional travel magazine in 1998. Today the magazine features exciting destinations across the United States, Canada and parts of Mexico. We have even featured a getaway in Africa!

Pilot Getaways is a great magazine, but it isn't for me. Can I receive a refund?
When a magazine stops publishing, it's obligation to its subscribers ends. However, Pilot Getaways wants to ensure that Northern Pilot readers get as many issues as they paid for, so we are honoring the remainder of your Northern Pilot subscription at a cost to ourselves.
If you are a Northern Pilot subscriber who signed up after the merger (October 2003) and Pilot Getaways received your payment, you are entitled to a 100% refund.
If you are a Northern Pilot subscriber whose payment went to Frostbite Publications, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. The issues of Pilot Getaways you are receiving are being sent at a cost to ourselves.
